Q. What about copyright in regards to using persistent links?

Adding the persistent link to an eResource is acceptable when sharing within D2L. Our licensing agreements do not permit the text of articles or PDF versions to be placed electronically into D2L or other webpages. In order to meet copyright restrictions, students must log in and authenticate as a valid Sault College user before accessing articles. This allows the vendor to maintain counts of access and submit appropriate royalties to the publisher.  Also, each vendor and publisher may have additional restrictions.  (please refer to individual vendors and watch for publisher copyright statements when viewing articles)
